Worst Date Ever

Another assignment for Materials and Techniques for Sequential Art. This time, our instructions allowed us to illustrate two acrobats, two rodeo clowns, or a couple fighting. I chose the couple fighting, clearly... but, ever true to my nature, one of the couple just happens to be a werewolf.

Also, the police are involved. It is the worst date she's ever had.

This is my favourite piece of last quarter, but perhaps the coolest thing about it is that it was primarily inked with brush. I'd never really inked with a brush before, but I think it worked out fairly well here, especially on the werewolf (but straight lines, of course, are still inked the normal way, with a crowquill pen).

And yes, this is also another piece set in Savannah. That's the Trustees Theater that the werewolf is scaling, with the Jen Library across the street. The media of the piece is mostly ink wash, with a little bit of white gouache here and there to touch some things up.
