Description
I love this so much!! This is the best thing I've done to date, in my opinion.
I started out just drawing an aussie dingo, because it seemed like a fun thing to draw. Then, for some unknown reason, I decided to go all out. Basically, I wanted to draw what I called a "saleable image." Meaning I wanted to draw a complete picture, coloured with a background and everything, and I wanted it to be of a fairly generic character, instead of one of my personal characters, since I'd feel weird about selling personal char's.
I call her Steffani Arvin, because the allusion amuses me.
This is Tria Markers, once again, with Prismacolor pencils, on Bristol board. Inked with Super Black India Ink and one o' them Speedball pens (the brand of nib I use actually isn't speedball, but I'm too lazy to go see what it is). Most of the background is marker, Steff herself is mostly marker with a good deal of pencil shading, and that main tree is a mostly coloured pencil, with a marker...uh... "primer coat," if you will. I'm so very proud of it.
Steff is a dingo. The large snake is an emerald tree boa. The dark snake is a carpet python. Photoreference found at [link] . I have no idea if those species actually live together or not.
